Global Top 5 Companies Accounted for 30% of total N95 Disposable Respirator market (QYResearch, 2021)

The N95 disposable mask is a N95 respirator that is intended for use in a healthcare setting.  The ‘N95’ designation means that when subjected to careful testing, the respirator blocks at least 95 % of very small (0.3 micron) test particles. If properly fitted, the filtration capabilities of N95 respirators exceed those of face masks. However, even a properly fitted N95 respirator does not completely eliminate the risk of illness or death. These N95 respirators are class II devices regulated by FDA, under 21 CFR 878.4040, and CDC NIOSH.  Filtering face piece respirators (FFR), which are sometimes called disposable respirators, are subject to various regulatory standards around the world. These standards specify certain required physical properties and performance characteristics in order for respirators to claim compliance with the particular standard. During pandemic or emergency situations, health authorities often reference these standards when making respirator recommendations, stating, for example, that certain populations should use an “N95, FFP2, or equivalent” respirator.

According to the new market research report “Global N95 Disposable Respirator Market Report 2023-2029”, published by QYResearch, the global N95 Disposable Respirator market size is projected to reach USD 2.01 billion by 2029, at a CAGR of 7.8% during the forecast period.
